This place rocks! The dining room was HUGE! The high ceilings made the room look even more spacious and the chandeliers added a nice touch. I came for lunch and the place was packed. There were several buffet tables and a ton of food to choose from. There was your standard chinese food and a salad bar if you're going for healthy. I didn't like the fried rice. It was bland and had no flavor. Some of the chicken was a bit too salty for my liking. Fresh sushi was made hourly and you can watch them make it. They used quality ingredients and tasted great. Nearby was a hibachi grill. There was a buffet table with all the ingredients and you can choose what you want grilled and they will cook it while you wait and watch. The dessert options weren't the best. There were some fruits, jello, cream puffs, and cake. They tasted ok but not the best. There were ice cream cups available in the freezer too. Apparently this buffet has been opened for a year. It's disappointing that I hadn't heard about it until now but then again, I'm hardly ever in town. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. You get a lot of food options for the price.

The chandeliers were broken. Most chairs were broken. We went during a peak time and the food had been sitting there getting old. The waitress never was around our table to fill any waters. There was at max 4 tablea in use and 2 waitreases so no water? We were hoping it was going to be a great farewell location for a friend, ahe was so sick she postponed the trip.

Not a fan of MORE Chinese buffets in the WC Joplin area but this is probably one of the only decent ones here. Great selection and yummy food

This is actually one of the better Chinese buffets in the Joplin area, but that isn't saying a whole lot since 90% of Chinese buffets in the area are horrible. They have a huge array of chinese dishes and some seafood options too, such as crawfish, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp and some frightening whole squid looking things(eek!). They also have a salad bar and a dessert bar(though not a whole lot of dessert options) as well as a sushi bar and a Mongolian grill. I can't speak for the sushi myself because I don't eat it, but my boyfriend said it was really bad. He does however LOVE their crawfish. I was going to try the Mongolian grill, but once I saw that they had zero options for sauces to add to it, I changed my mind. I guess I'm just spoiled by Hu Hot. The chinese food was pretty good. Chicken and broccoli was really yummy as well as the sweet and sour chicken, they also had some butter potatoes that were really delicious. The fried shrimp was tasty too which in my experience is very rare at a chinese buffet. The desserts were not good. Stale cake and freezer burnt hard as a rock little cups of ice cream. The chocolate pudding was good, but you cant really go wrong with chocolate pudding. The booths are pretty run down and the carpet is a bit dingy, but the tables and buffet all seemed clean so I wasn't too bothered by it. Overall this place is decent and probably the best Chinese buffet option around. It's not somewhere I go often, but when I get a hankering for chinese buffet it does the trick.

I love this place. I used to belong to the anytime fitness gym next door. I had to quit and cancel my membership, which was nearly impossible btw, just because of east buffet. One word: sushi. I've never tried the Hibachi grill because the sushi bar steals all of my attention. Also, all of the staff are legit Asians with very American names. I think they are lying to us...

This buffet is huge. They have so much food including Sushi rolls and other items you would not normally see at a buffet. The service is OK. Communication is sometimes hard with the employees. Luckily it doesn't take much communication at a buffet anyway so that is not a big deal. If you are in the mood for this type of food I would give it a try. Some of the food is bland but they also have many things that are hard to find such as frog legs and octopus.

Outstanding service, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Buffet was good with decent selection. Good seafood selection for the money. One of the better buffets in the area. Give them a try!
